Ces is helping mama with the rabbit house. Then they are ready and Ces wants to play ball. I always love playing ball. Ces is keeper, mama and I try to shoot the ball in. Fun, on this lovely bright afternoon.

Squirrel baby bjorn

Ces has a bew fashion, she is wearing a shawl. Mama says she can wear it once to school, but then no more: it will be in the way of working at school.
This morning she has found a new mode for the shawl: a baby bjorn for today's favourite cuddly: squirrel. Now Squirrel can participate at breakfast, without getting jam on his fur.

There is a lot of table dressing and table clearing happening in our house. Morning, lunch, dinner and some in between's. I wanna do that too, it is obviously fun to do, or else why would everybody do that all the time? Am I doing a good job putting everything out?

Painting the wall

But the morning is too quiet and Ces stirrs it up: let's paint the wall!! Mama is a bit hesitant, but then she finds a good wall. I create nice drippers!

Quiet morning

We are having a quiet morning. My sister is as usual working hard at her table: drawing, writing, cutting. I am busy with the puzzles. I pick one up, carry it to the middle of the floor and turn it around. Then I may be putting some pieces back before returning the puzzle to the pile. The carrying is the fun!

Sleeping at Gabi's

Yeah, Gabrielle has invited Ces for a sleep over. Ces loves sleepovers and she loves Gabrielle. It is big fun! The day after mama comes far to quickly. But then... surprise! Mama wants to takes us all to Bubble Jungle, this children's play paradise. Especially a paradise bar with ice cream and lemonade. And mama gives them money to buy lemonade themselves. They are so excited they come back with the change but without the lemonade!!

Mama has put her camera in a very safe location. The camera is safe for her!

Today she has grabbed papa's camera. Ces is playing great with me, and I am caught with my hand in the hagelslag jar (chocolate, hmm!).

Winter outdoor dinner!

Let's eat outside, Ces says. Well, you are right! mama says. It is a lovely autumn day. And look at us, it is nearly November and we are enjoying sunshine with dinner!

Fruit time. I am so hungry I start eating while mama cuts the mango. Besides, mama says mango is the best. The very best ever, and I eat half of it straight away. And banana to follow. Well, mama says, it is convenient to have coffee and fruit time standing in the kitchen; no hassle

Dahlia's

After an early morning swim with the family, Ces and mama visit Elly, to bring her some apple cake we made from our apples. Do you have some time? she says, we'll pick some flowers. Ces is thrilled with all her favourite colours.

The apples are ripe

Time to get to work, the apples are ripe and we need to pick them before the crows will. Ces is our climber and goes up to get them.

Of course, I can't stay behind and I am so impatient, there I go!

Yeah!!

play ground

It's been raining, raining, raining this morning, it is about time we get some fresh air. Mama and I go shopping on the market, and afterwards we meet papa and Ces on the play ground. I think it is great! Nothing else needed.

First I walk a wall, and Ces does her twirls on a bar, Ces collects tree seeds for her autumn collection, and then I find the water pools and we need to go home to dry.

Falling with my horse

More falling games. I climb on my horse and then fall. Just like my sister used to do. And Alex. This is apparently the falling horse!

Ces is the bride

Miss Marieke from Ces' school is getting married today. The whole school sung a song for them. And now Ces is a bride.

Falling game

I have all sorts of games. One of them is a falling game. You do a turn, clap three times in your hards and then fall. Legs up in the air, of course! The game is better if mama joins me, after day in the office, while papa is cooking.

My train

My train is my favourite toy these days. I drive the train around the track. Brrm, brrm, brrrm. Sometimes I sit on the tracks, and it breaks. But now I can fix it! Yeah, I worked it out how to put the parts together!

Dinner

Dinner is soooo boring. The first couple of bites are great, but then...I play with the vitamin D bottle. And when I am really through with this whole dinner thing, I stand up and look really cute naughty!

Family visit

Grandma and grandpa are visiting us, and Simon and Alex are coming too. It is a house full of family! And lots of kids playing! After the grandparents have left, we kids continue playing, preparing performances in the blue room: the performance of course needs to be rehearsed on the bed and involves a lot of jumping!


Then there is a flower princess, just like in the book, but also naughty monkeys with mama's socks in their pants. The flower princess is a bit scared of them. But also perhaps not.... And I love jumping on the brown couch.

Lantern parade

Making a lantern? Then walk in a lantern parade? Just what my sister Ces loves!

In the afternoon, while I do my afternoon nap, they go to the Autumn market, where there is all sorts of fun autumn things to do. And they make a pumpkin lantern, with a real smiley face.

But the parade is of course only after dinner: it has be a bit dark! Ces is very keen on the parade, she asks all they time when we can go. Finally after dinner, and I can come too, even though it is after my bed time. The parade walks straight into the forrest! Yeah, nice and dark!!

Walking duck

Another thing I have learnt: walk with my duck, quack, quack, quack. Just two weeks ago I was confused by the rope and where the duck should go (behind me). And now I can! Just like any other kid I walk circles  in my house. Quack, quack!

Last beach day of the year?

Mmm, it might be the last beach day of the year. We go! Mama and Ces swim, but I just stroll over the sand. And then Ces thinks of a game. We burry the flipflops and then the other person must find them again. How does one spot a place were the sand is turned?

A swim at the lake

A last beautiful day of the season. We are enjoying it at the lake. Leon woke up just before mama could take a good swim.

Groceries

I am helping mama bringing in the groceries. They make the bread loafs big these days!!!

Cleaning the windows

It is hot hot hot, and we splash splash splash. My sister has found a fun game: cleaning the windows with her broom stick. Mama says she is a real big help! You can see: no stripes but lots of droplets! She goes around the house and cleans all the windows!

Then she uses her crayons to write on the pavement: her name and a heart and an eye. This is my chance! I pick up the broom stick, put it in the bucket to make it wet! It is not not easy to put a large broom stick like that where it needs to go!

The water can

This water can is these days my favourite. I take it in the house and walk around with it. Not with water, unfortunately. But outside I have my bicycle - can't reach the pedals yet - with a tray of water at the rear.

Then I decide to walk down the stairs. But I am someone who thinks before he does. Shall I walk down or would that make me fall? I decide I better be careful and go on hands and knees.

Olympics in the back yard

Ces got a turn bar from Santa, but my papa had to install it. Not so easy: it needs to be firm and stable! But now it is done and our little olympics girl star can playm swing and hang upside down all she likes!

Walking!!

Have I've got news for you! In holiday I decided I could do it: walk! We were on holiday with Simon and Alex and Ces and somehow I had to keep up with those kids! I am so proud!! The first day I walked two steps, but after a week I am in this picture so far that I can walk a stretch. My shoes finally do good service!
