Autumn colours

It is autumn, and because of the dry weather, we have beautiful colours! The tress of our neighbours coordinate lovely with the flowers in our window.

In the baby bjorn

We're in a hurry, we're bringing Ces to school. It is my highlight of the day, in papa's baby bjorn on the bicycle!

Dinner time

I am joining my family for dinner. No good sitting on my own in my chair. At the table, that's the place to be. I am nearly six month old, and then I can participate! Now I just watch how this is done.

Ice skates

Thank you grandma, for the handy baskets to keep our house tidy: they make excellent ice skates.

Mmmm, nicely tucked away

I don't know what I had. I just couldn't find my rest. Mama tucks me in the sling and that comforts me. Mmmm, can't sway my arms, and legs savely tied in. And then I don't remember why I was so restless.

Sitting on the table

I don't like sitting on the floor anymore. I make crying noises, and my mama sits me on the table. That is much more fun!

Grandpa and grandma Niessia

When I wake up, Grandpa and grandma Niessia have arrived. Fun! I hadn't met Niessia yet, but today she gives me a bottle in the sunshine.

I love sleeping in the outdoors, I sleep nowhere better. Luckily today is a dry and warm day. We have luck this season.

Eating an apple

I am nearing 6 months of age and mama says I can eat an apple. I like eating an apple with my big sister! Exciting! I like it.

Daisy Duck sleeps.

Grandma has come up with a plan to combat the things that live on our floor: baskets. They make an excellent sleeping place for Daisy Duck.

Goose game

What is more dutch than a game of goose board? This is mama's old board with the cute geese.

Two geese have a birthday, they stand on the dice chairs. The others are singing. A real geese party!

It was holiday week for Ces. But Tuesday and Thursday she still goes to Outer School Day Care. She gets lunch there. She is still one of the youngest there. But her friends Marc and Rutger are there too.

Little holiday in the zoo

Ces has holiday. Not really of course, because there is no holiday house. Without house it is not a real holiday.

But the zoo is fun, and the playground of the zoo too! The slide is hudge!!

Boxes for cleaning

Grandpa and Grandma are helping us combatting the chaos in our home. Boxes to put things in. Only they are more fun to play with! They make a good picknick. And so there is more chaos!

Cooking time again

A couple of days later, and I am sitting in the kitchen again. But today mama sits besides me, ant that is all the more fun.
I am playing with my pink and purple rattler. It was my sisters favourite toy, and I like it too! It is easy to hold. And it lies easy in the mouth. That is important for us babies too!!

Cooking time

You know that dinner time is a busy time for all of us: I want to drink, they want to eat. And cooking time is just leading up to that time. So, I sit in my hopper and try to pass the time by watching papa cook. It is difficult: I'd rather play with him!

Playing Miffy

Miffy on the computer. It is one of Ces's favourite games. (nijntje.nl). Colouring, music, films, lots of games. And she can do this on her own for hours! If only mama would let her!

Today Ces is rather tired. So, the film has to be watched from a more relaxing perspective. But watch she will! Even if eyes don't participate anymore...

Dinner time

I like dinner time, and I like participating in it. I sit on mama's lap and then mama can eat with one hand.

Mama says that I may try the child seat. Wow, that is difficult, my head flops forward. Luckily mama put a pillow there. Nah, I still need a strong arm to support me. A bit later I can try again.

Eating cheese

I am a curious boy, and I am a social boy: I like participating in family meals, always have. Particularly evening dinner times: I have stayed up for them and insist on being taken on the lap.

But breakfast is fun too. To satisfy my curiosity mama gives me the wrapping box of the herbal cheese. Mmmm, that is best investigated with my mouth. Haha, that is funny, my sister laughs.

The warm weather continues and I enjoy watching the leaves from mama's lap.

Fun in the garden

Raphael comes to play. We have fun with the water hose. Raphael would really like to water all over the garden, but mama tells no. Water goes in the bath, she says. Even though he tries a couple of times!!

I like the sounds of Ces and Raphael playing around me. I sleep with my toy firmly in hand.

Grandma Franka

We have sad news, Grandma Franka has passed away. We are missing her already. After all, she was Ces´s friend!

This morning was her funeral. We have remembered her this morning by eating pancakes. Furthermore she choose a beautiful day for her funeral. And she always like Holland in the sunshine!

An exceptional day

It is truely an amazing day: end of September and it is Summer hot. We drive by Simon's beach and dive in. Mmmmm, lovely water.
Well, actually, I don't dive. Mama says I am a bit too small for diving in this coldish water. It is for the first time I see a water surface this large. I study it carefully from papa's lap. On the way home, it is my bed time, and I fall asleep.

Raphael's birthday

And Raphael turns 4 too! Ces is invited to his party, and it is a great party: cake, pancakes, games, everything! Raphael's uncle Willem is taking care of entertainment, and he knows how to make a play! (He is a drama teacher). When everybody has left, we are invited for dinner. But before that, we need to enjoy the sunshine.

This climbing device has become a ship and we are sailing to China. That is where Raphael's grandfather is at the moment. His grandmother likes that!
