High and low

Curious, curious. It is all so new and I want to know. My sister has all sorts of interesting things. I like eating paper.

My sister has always happily been working in her corner, but now we are storing things High.

Climbing up the dishwasher

Climbing is my newest challenge. And the dishwasher is such an exciting climbing object! All these things to investigate!

a day outdoors

We are going to the beach with Raphael and Ellen, and then later mama can visit Grandpa in new house for revalidation. A cold wind is blowing at the sea, but the food in the restaurant afterwards makes up. I didn't like the beach very much, at start. Luckily Ellen has a nice Grissini for me to eat. Much better!

Watching Sesame street.

Sesame Street on the computer is Ces's latest favourite. Today her cuddly toys all can sit in with her.

My sister Ces can dance! And she likes giving a show!

Getting up

I've got to go up, up, up. It is the way of babies.

Ces is enjoying a fruit ice. I like ice too, but now I am busy with climbing. I've shown mama once, that I could even stand on my tip toe, but usually I stand on my knees still.

I often go into the kitchen now that I can, it is where the action is!

Kitchen cupboard

Exciting! I can move around the house! I crawl towards where the action is: the kitchen! Mama shows me where my territory is: my own cupboard. Cups to pick up and arrange on the floor, the door to open en close. This is what a baby is supposed to do!

On hands and knees

I am so proud! On hands and knees.Carefully I lift a hand and place it a bit ahead.

The horse is fun too: I bang the horses feet on the floor. The larger the better for us little ones.

Under the table

Look at me! I am tigering around. Mostly I pull myself on my arms forward, left, right, otherwise I go around in circles.

But I can sit on my knees and hands! I can even 'stand' on my feet and hands.

One of my favourite spots is under Ces' table: always interesting items have dropped: pieces of paper, pens, pencils and much more.

Sleeping in the garden

Mama and I have brought Ces to school. Then we did some grocery shopping and walked back through the balmy air. I dose off and mama lets me sleep in the garden. Mmmmm.

A show at school

Ces and her class have been working on songs from 100 years ago, because of the school being 100 years old. A show, that is fun! A song and a dance. Ces is very happy that mama comes watching.

Adieu my beautiful rattle

This rattle was favourite with Ces, and I loved it too. And it was pre-loved anyhow. It broke a month ago, and my papa glued it back together. But now it broke again... Adieu.

Ces school is 100 years old!

All sorts of celebrations, because the school is 100 years! Can you find Ces? Her coat is grey with fur and she wears a pink shawl.

Tiny tingle bell

The little bell at the house, I touch it with delicy and make it tingle. A house my size! And a bell my size.

the floor! painting the floor

We had a floor painting party before, but we were not sure if the floor would really go, and so it was a boring party... without paint at least.

But now it is sure, the floor will be renewed, after the water damage.  Especially Ces makes it a work of art, worth signing with your name.

Beautiful necklace

Ces has made a necklace for mama, and today she reminds mama to wear it. The necklace goes all the way in to work and don't you think it fits nicely with the pink vest? Mama is very happy with it.

Tulips at our table

Every Friday the flowerman comes by our house. He fills our house with plants and flowers. These taste for spring!

Ice cream! I love it, and my sister gives me some. Mjum!

Me with red cheek

I am tigering around on the floor, but one cheek is red - my tooth, of course.

jump!

I have been unsettled for a couple of days, but today I show why: I have a tooth. And at the same time, I am jumping ahead in development: I can crawl!! Well, two steps at least. And sit for 20 seconds!

Flip, our guest

We have a guest for a week: Flip de bear! From Ces' school. Of course we note all the activities we do with him, and then write our entry in the Flip book.

Flip helps Ces with drawing at her table, he gets to eat red cabbage and he needs to brush his teeth, of course. Unfortunately we have no photo how he visits the Goat Farm, that we visit with Raphael. But then again: apparently he already visited a Goat Farm with another child: the goat farm in the Amsterdam Forest.

Simon, Alex and Diego

Long time no see, time to visit Simon and Alex. After the church we go, I am quite tired after playing with the friendly lady in the church. So, I sleep (shortly) in the car. I love the floor of Aunt Hannie and Uncle Frank! We walk through the rain to the horses, and actually it is fun. Then we rest while watching Diego, Dora's friend. Simon is still recovering from being ill last week.

Church

Ces' school has a combined service in church. Mama and Ces sit in church, while I may play with the friendly lady who takes care of the babies. Fun!

Two wabbits

Mama and Ces are claying: two wabbits have fun together!

I LOOOVE newspapers. Just like my sister used to (and still does). They wrinkle nicely, and they chew even better. Usually there is someone pave cleaner in front of me, unfortunately....

Birthday Alex in a castle

My big cousin Alex turns 3! He treats us to a tour through Castle Ter Haar with a lunch in the village Haarzuilens.

I am a bit too small for a tour, so Ces goes with mama, and I follow for lunch.

It is a real castle for a real princes, just like Ces. Doesn't she look like she is in the right place?  We don't have many pictures from inside: pictures were not allowed, because the people still live there, at least one month per year: the Barones and their children and friends. Not quite like princesses perhaps, but close to it. And with a princess toilet, just like in the castle in Switzerland! That is important. The tour was really a mystery tour, with actors playing the mystery. Fun!

Winter holiday in the snow

We are back from winter holiday in the snow. It was so fantastic! We had lots of snow, more than double the usual snow around this time of year. And more fell while we were there. My sister Ces was in ski school every morning and now she can ski down a slope and slalom. And she can take the lift up by her self. She had a lovely teacher Sophie who made good games for learning skiing.

Both ways we drove in the late afternoon deep into the night. Easy! I sleep, and then we're there. Ces could watch dvd's late into the night. In the holiday house We arranged a special Ces art table, for cutting and drawing. Soon it was full with her work all over.
