Goat farm with little piglets

A third day filled with rain. Now we want to go outside, but where? The goat farm! It is the time of the little baby lambs. I thoroughly enjoy it again! And papa enjoys the pancake!

I helped the farmer and fed the hay to the cows, by pushing it under their nose. But the best I liked were the little piglets. So cute and playfull!! And they walk on their tows. I have seen that in the book about Olivia the little pig. She forms a band of five with the noise she can make, her mama sends her back when she has applied sumptuous amounts of lipstick and she goes to watch the fire works. Olivia walks on her toes. Cows walk on their toes too, don't they?

puzzles and games

On holiday mama gave me a holiday book, with puzzles, riddles, pictures to colour and more. One of games was to connect points and then you get a picture. You go from 1 to 2 to 3 and so on.

Now we are back and reading the newspaper together. And here I spot a game! I run to get my pencil and draw the lines: from here to here to here.....

Sinterklaas rides his horse Amerigo

Sinterklaas is back in town! He is wearing his cape (brown instead of red, but who cares?) and he is now riding his -slightly unwilling - horse Amerigo.

Holiday on Gran Canaria

I have been on holiday! We wanted sun and sea, and so we went to Gran Canaria. And we have enjoyed ourselves.

As you can see we rented a cute house, with a little outdoor area. It was warm enough that we could dine outside.

The park also had a heated pool, that was the best thing about this holiday.

And the many tiled pathes that I could jump, skip, hop over and little stone walls.

Of course we went to the beach. But the water was a bit too wild for me. Not for mama.

And we made some trips to the aboriginal houses, to the city of Las Palmas and the sand dunes.

And yes, mama was there with us.

Kiwi jam

This year's kiwi harvest was enourmous. Ellie from mama's choir, helped us out picking them. Now she helps us out making kiwi jam. Mama and she are chatting in the kitchen while peeling the kiwi's, while I occasionally help them out.

Isn't this an enourmous pot of jam? And we have three more of these sessions in the next couple of weeks! If you bring us a jar, you get another one back full!!
