Grandpa visits

Grandpa must have enjoyed our visit of two weeks ago as much as we. He is coming to visit us. And while mama and papa are cooking we are playing puzzle and with Muschka.

Painting

Papa is cooking and it will take a little while still. We are painting. It's been a little while and it is highly necessary: the clay pieces I made with grandma a year ago are still waiting to be coloured. Now we'll do it!

We are wearing our plastic shirts, mama's is a bit too small, but I make sure she is wearing one! I have my Indian look band around the head.

Grandma Franka

It is time to visit Grandma Franka! And fun too, because we share a love of eating pancakes.

Egg holder

Mama and papa have been out last evening. But they have brought me a present: An egg holder with a hat. I like eggs; usually when I have finished an egg, I say: 'Another egg, papa!'. Which never comes, of course. With this egg holder it is even more fun eating!

Train

'And then the train didn't ride. And then we had to take the bus.'. I remember that episode clearly, last December. This week mama had it even stranger when she went to work:'Then the train didn't ride, and the bus didn't ride. Mama had to take the car.'.

But now we are really going with the train, yeah! Even though it is in a different direction than anticipated, because they are working on the train again! We buy tickets, great! And there are lots of other kids in the train that I can stare at.

This train direction has nice eating places too.

Vechtoever

We are preparing our holiday home for sale. It is a lovely home, but too much work and travel.

So, here we are, and beautiful it is again, in winter as much as summer.

New cousin Noor

Yesterday I got a new cousin! She is called Noor and we visit her straight away! Ah, she is so small, but she has appetite for a girl who wants to grow. Just one drink is not enough, she wants two! She is a little sister to Koen and Loes. Later Koen and I run around the garden.

Grandpa

It has been a long time since we have visited Grandpa. Today papa and I are going.

We go for a little stroll to the horses nearby and play games with the bench. Then we drink a beer with grandpa, and I show him, I can open them.

Baby goat

We are going to the goat farm again: will there be little lams for spring? Yes! Two little baby goats are there. They are so cute, and nibble to softly my papa's shoes. We also visit the cows again: baby cows from last year and lots of mama cows. We study how the mama cows pee: they have a lot of pee!! Like a waterfall.

But the best I liked the horses and ponies! There were girls sitting on the horses. This was all so exciting, later I also want to sit on horses!

We also saw a picture of grandmother when she was a child, and we saw a picture of grandma's mama: grandma's mama and papa made cheese and grandma is watching. Here you see them!

Chocolate cake!

A rainy day is such a good event to make a cake. We look through our books and I point out all the brown cakes. We have some left-over chocolate from Christmas, good to use today!

While mama whips the flower and eggs, I hold on to the pieces of chocolate for her!

But the tasting is perhaps the best!!

Papa calls Buzz

My Papa is back. Papa! Buzz on the phone for you! Buzz Lightning!

Papa calls us

Papa came walking home this morning. Well, walking.. He had the boat and the plane, and then the train...

We are calling with my own phone. "I have a planet to save", Buzz says.

A great day

No pictures of the events, but a great day: first I dance and sing in my music lesson, then we all blow bubbles on the street because Susanna celebrates her second birthday. Then mama and I are going to the swimming pool: swimming! We have recently taken that up and I love it: I jump and paddle around with my swim aids. Even ask mama to go under water, just like she does. Brrr, not sure if I really liked that.

In the afternoon we paint. Mama and I make paintings together!!

New soxes

I find new sox amidst the shopping. I like them: long and with stripes. Now I try to fit them on. Toe in the toe, heel in the heel. Phhh, difficult.

But they are now my most favourite soxes!

We have been swimming this morning, that is why my hair is all curly.
